Abner Woodall has a CSA pension application on line. He enlisted on March 18, 1862 in Ellaville, GA and served with Co. B of the GA 46th regiment until they surrendered in April 1865 in Macon, GA. He was never captured. Proof of marriage to Miss Mary Jane Chapman in Marion Co., GA on 17 Dec 1856 is included as well as proof of his death on 6 Oct 1917. His widow received $500 in burial expenses when he passed away.
