Clara was born to Wallace David Wooster and Helen Louise (Lulu) Tenbrook. She married Alfonse Leopold Legault April 20, 1910 in Denver, Colorado.

They had five children:

Clara was a very charming lady. She raised five children by herself after her husband Al died. She never remarried and never drove a car. She was a kind and loving parent. She ran a boarding
house for a while and when she moved to the Los Angeles area she worked as a seamstress at "Cole of California" putting zippers in bathing suits.
