Mrs Henry Bath Dead
Mrs Henry Bath, aged 83 years, a highly respected lady of Frostburg, who had been suffering with cancer of the stomach for some time, died Sunday night at 12 o'clock at the residence of her daughter, Mrs Samuel Bowen. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from the residence of Mr Samuel Bowen, Hill street. Rev J W R Sumwalt preached a touching sermon and spoke of the life of the deceased, dwelling on the many Christian qualities and kind and gentle disposition. Two(sic) children survive her, John and Thomas Bath and Mrs Samuel Bowen, this place; Mrs Daniel Lapp of Braddock, Pa and Mrs Robert Noel of Baltimore. Interment was made in Allegany Cemetery.
