Jessie S. Ellis; of Nashville, TN passed away July 10, 2016. She is preceded in death by her; loving husband, Herman Ellis; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by; son, Mark Alan (Lisa) Ellis; daughters, Monte Ellis Klassen, Michelle Ellis (Bob) Orwig; sister, Shirley Witham; grandchildren, Lauren Klassen Elassal, Brian Klassen, Dalton Orwig, Carson Orwig; great-grandchildren, Ava Elassal.
Mrs. Ellis was a witty woman who loved all genres of music. She enjoyed poetry, reading, gardening, and above all story-telling. Jessie was very active in church. She was a member of Inglewood United Methodist in Nashville and Grove Hill United Methodist Church in AL. Not only was Jessie an amazing cook, but she was a wonderful hostess as well. She was passionate about writing and enjoyed sewing in her spare time.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4- 8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Celebration of life service will take place on Thursday July 14, 2016 at 2pm with visitation 1 hour prior at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
