Hezekiah is claimed to have been b. on May 24, 1681, but a record of such specific date of birth cannot be found. He was baptized of record at Middletown, Conn. Mar. 7, 1681/2. Based on his purported date of birth, he died on his 46th birthday and was then 46 years old, but Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of his Age) 47, not 46 as inscribed. Otherwise, if his inscribed age was calculated from his recorded date of baptism, he died 45 years old and Ætatis suæ 46 as inscribed.
