Mr. McNeal was a lifelong member of 67th Street United Methodist Church and currently a member of Eastlake United Methodist Church. He retired from Greg's Cookie Company.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances McNeal; daughter, Sue Condrey (Eddie) of Birmingham; son, Joseph Franklin "Joey" McNeal, Jr. of Birmingham; granddaughter, Tammy Condrey Mercure (Adam) of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2001, 2:00 P.M. at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bob Gunn and Rev. Reagan Boling will be officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 21st, 5:30 until 8:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
Family request memorials be made to Hospice of IHS, 234 Aquarius Drive, B'ham, AL. 35209. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel directing.
