Michelle Annette Moran, 45, of Sioux City, Iowa, formally of Sumner, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at her home in Sioux City.
Funeral services for Michelle will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the First Baptist Church, Sumner, Iowa.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am, at the First Baptist Church, Sumner, Iowa.
Michelle was born on March 5, 1971, to Brown Teller Mathis. A short time later she was adopted by David and Shirley (Schulte) Neighbors, in Panama City, Florida.
On August 27, 1988, Michelle was united in marriage to Kerry Moran, at the First Baptist Church, in Sumner, Iowa. To this union their son Zachary was born. In 2009, Kerry passed away.
Michelle loved spending time with her grandchildren, as well as, other family and friends.
Michelle is survived by her son, Zachary (Delaney) Moran, of Sioux City, Iowa; her grandchildren, David and James Moran, of Sioux City, Iowa; son, Justin (Cara) Moran, of New Hartford, Iowa; her mother, Shirley Neighbors, of Sumner, Iowa; her sister, Lea Everly of Winthrop, Iowa and many adopted children and siblings.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kerry Moran and her father, David Neighbors.
