Yolanda Marie Grosor, age 89 of Waco, NE, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln. She was born September 22, 1926 in Bronx, NY to Pietro and Katherine (DeFelisbus) Palmisano. Yolanda was united in marriage to Norbert C. Grosor on June 30, 1945 in Younkers, NY. The union was blessed with four children, two son's and two daughter's.

Yolanda was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Waco, LWML, enjoyed quilting, cooking and baking. She also helped with the Orphan Grain Train project. Crocheting was one of her favorite pastimes and she loved making baby hats and other items for people in the Hearthstone. She was a charter member of the York Senior Center and in 2014, Yolanda was selected as the York News Times Difference Maker. She was the co-chairman of the “chicken feed” committee and made the best spaghetti and meatballs. Yolanda was the true definition of an “Italian Grandma.”

Left to cherish her memory is one son and two daughter's.; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother-in-law,; one sister-in-law; cousins; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her husband; parents, son Allen Grosor; granddaughters, Michelle Moutray and Elizabeth “Lizz” Wolf; grandson, Eric Moutray; brothers, Stephen, Patsy, Steven and John; and sister Mary.

Funeral services were held July 15, 2016 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Interment was in the Waco Cemetery.
