Maurice Little Bear, 47, of McLaughlin, SD passed away at the Sanford Health Center of Bismarck. He was born to Elias and Wilma Little Bear at Fort Yates. After losing his parents at a very young age, Maurice was raised and adopted by Charles and Edith White. He is a 1987 graduate of McLaughlin High.
He is survived by his children: Thomas (Brianna). Wilma, Maria, Charles, Angel, and Blayz; 5 grandchildren; sister Deloris Yellow Horse; brother Nelson (Elaine); adoptive mother Edith White; and adoptive siblings.
Preceding him in death were his parents; adoptive father; brother William (Bob) Little Bear; sister April Little Bear; and granddaughter Amiyah Talley.
