Mrs. LEVA CATHARINE KATIE SHAFER, widow of Amos J. Shafer, near Middletown, died at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Friday, Aug. 1. She was born in Frederick County, Nov. 3, 1884, she was the daughter of the late William and India Long Flook.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Middletown for 76 years.
Surviving is one son, Clarence Shafer, Frederick.
Services were held at Zion Lutheran Church; interment in Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown; arrangements by the Gladhill Funeral Home, Middletown.
