MONDOVI -Morton Moe. 97, died Thursday at American Lutheran Nursing Home, Mondovi.

Moe was born and lived in the town of Naples, rural Mondovi. He was a farmer and steam engine operator. He married Mabel Albertson June 20, 1913 in Mondovi. He was lifetime member of the Central Lutheran Church, Mondovi, and an officer in the Mondovi Creamery and Farmers Lumber companies. He also served on the Naples Town Board for a number of years.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald, Ogema, Hartwick, Boyceville; three daughters, Lorraine Aase, Claremont, Calif., Murial Smith, Eau Claire, Beatrice Sihuo, Tacoma, Wash.; a sister, Martha Jackson, Mondovi; 18 grandchildren. 39 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Central Lutheran Church, with burial in River Side Lutheran Cemetery, both in Mondovi.

Friends may call from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kjentvet & Son Funeral Home, Mondovi, and from noon until services Monday at the church.
