Michael Wayne Knox, affectionately known as “Butch,” was the son of the late Rosa D. White and John and Ora Lee Knox. He departed this earthly journey on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Columbia, South Carolina.
Michael leaves behind to cherish precious memories to his loving brothers: Joseph (Ingrid) Deas of Jacksonville, FL and Kenneth Deas of Columbia, SC; sisters: Dorothy Gilbert of Savannah, GA, Glenda Lang, Linda (Ronald) Hollis both of Columbia, SC and Hattie (Felix) Cummings of Port Tobacco, MD; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, other loving relatives and friends all whom will miss him dearly.
Visition will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 1 - 7 PM at Myers Mortuary & Cremation Services, 5003 Rhett Street, Columbia, SC 29203. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11 AM at Central Baptist Church, 3625 Clement Road, Columbia, SC 29203. McCollom-Myers Mortuary & Cremation Services assisted the family.
