S. [ylvanus] P. [rice] Smith died at his home in Hopkins Sunday, September 24. The funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. D. W. Griffith. Interment was made in the Hopkins cemetery. He is survived by his wife and three children. The children are: Mrs. Verna Lee of Bedford, Willard Smith of Hopkins; and Mrs. Ruth Whitlow of Topeka, Kan.
