Philip Anthony Haigh

Phil passed away June 10, 2016 in Seattle at the age of 75. Phil was born December 2, 1940 in Seattle to Leo and Ethel Haigh and was the 10th child out of 16 in the large Haigh clan.

Phil lived his entire life in Seattle. He attended St. Teresa Elementary School and graduated from O'Dea High School. He was in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. Phil enjoyed a 33 year career with United Parcel Service and retired in 1995. Phil was an avid sports fan. Most Sundays he could be found on the golf course followed by watching the ponies with his buddies at Longacres.

Phil is survived by his children, Jennifer Rogers (Philip) and Angie Budinich (Tom); 3 Grandchildren, Emily, Grace and Natalie; the Haigh extended family; his friend and former spouse Myrna, many friends and his UPS family.

Phil was one of a kind. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face. He had a quick wit and a joke at the ready. He loved his family very much and will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.

A special thanks to Northwest Hospital and Providence Hospice for lovingly caring for our father in his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Providence Hospice, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or charity of your choice .
