Donna Mae Trimble Hines, 85, of La Grande, died July 2 at her residence.
Donna was born June 17, 1931 in Clayton, New Mexico, to Lawrence "Slim" Boyd and Stella Alberta (Hall) Trimble. She resided in Montana, Washington, Idaho, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, Arkansas, and Oregon. She was married to Bennie Gene Hines.
Donna was a telephone operator and a Realtor. Her family says she was a devoted mother and wife, and her children were the center of her world. She was a member of the Baha'i Faith.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Linda Lock of Wasilla, Alaska, Ben Jr. and Marcia Hines of Big Lake, Alaska, Dan and Cathy Hines of Sandy, Shanna and Mark Ellison of Gainesville, Missouri, Aleta Ferguson of Caldwell, Idaho, and Steve and Lynn Hines of Union; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Lorein Hines of Island City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie; brother, Ralph, Larry, and Jack; and sisters-in-law, Elaine Hines and Marge Trimble.
