Ernest Warren Reid

Ernest Warren Reid at age 76 passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 after a lengthy illness with cancer.

Ernest was preceded in death by his father Sam W. Reid, mother Bernice Diggs, sister Mary Ann Klotz, brother Clayton Hartford Reid, and his favorite uncle in the world as he often reminded me was Thomas Newton Wilson.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Lupe Montoya Reid, his aunt Frankie Wilson and niece Lee Ann brook shier from Talihina, Oklahoma.

Ernest was born in Austin, Texas on May 7, 1940. He later moved to Houston. He worked for the City as a Senior Building Inspector till retirement. Ernest was a member of the Grand Lodge of Texas A.F. and A.M., North Shore Lodge No. 1353. We were very proud of him as well as he.
Ernest had

a compassionate heart, and a wonderful human being to all he met. We will cherish the wonderful and beautiful memories he has left us with.

Ernest was loved by all his extended family. Ernest step daughter Andrea Ochoa, granddaughter Christina Ochoa & grandson Brian Cline, from Mrs Reid side of her family.
Ernest loved grilling, fishing and his beloved Houston Texans.

At his request he will be cremated. There will be a special Catholic Mass at St. Mary's of the Miraculous Medal, 1604 9th Ave N. Texas City, Texas on Saturday, July 23rd at 11:00 A.M.

A very special "Thank You" to Harbor Hospice. We are much grateful for everything.
