Rachel Graves Edwards, age 89, went to her heavenly home on July 4, 2016. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She was born and raised in Speedwell and later resided in Jacksboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Kelburn (Keb) Edwards, infant son Danny Ray, mother Mossie Mae Jones Graves, father McKinley Graves, brothers Lloyd Graves (died while serving our country in WW2), Leo Graves, and Iverson Graves.
She enriched the lives of the people who knew her and she became everybody’s mamaw. Our loss will be heavens’ gain but she will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
