Retired Officer Bobby Shepherd, of the Airport Section - Sadly, Bobby, a very gentle spirit quietly slipped away from us over the weekend. Bobby served the Atlanta Police Department for well over twenty five years of dedicated service. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him dearly. Bobby was a very devoted family man and truly a dedicated friend to so many. We will not forget the many sacrifices that Bobby Shepherd made while serving the department and the many citizens of the City of Atlanta. Officer Shepherd worked out of the Zone three precinct on the morning watch for years, before moving to the Hartsfield Jackson Airport Section until retirement.
Officer Bobby Shepherd is survived by his loving mother, sisters and a host of other relatives and dear friends, including special friends Investigator Steve Nichols, Executive Protection and Officer Charles Fletcher, Airport Section.
