Milton Dale Cook, age 66, of Tupelo, Mississippi, passed from this earthly life to his eternal home on 6 Jul 2016.

Milton was born 2 Aug 1949 in Jasper, Alabama. He graduatedfrom Carbon Hill High School in 1967 and received his Bachelor's Degree from Livingston Universiy (now University of West Alabama) in 1972. He joined the National Guard in 1969 and was discharged in 1973. On 16 Feb 1980, Milton married the love of his life, Candy Parker, in Marietta, Georgia and moved to Tupelo the same year after being transferred with Perferred Risk/Guide One Insurance.

Milton and Candy made their home in Tupelo, and he worked as a claims adjuster for Guide One for 30 years. He was an active member of East Heights Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon and served his church and community. In jis free time, Milton loved to fish, work in the yard, and cheer for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He especially loved attending Alabama sporting events with his family. He was a faithful and dedicated husband and father. He loved the Lord and shared his faith at every opportunity.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, 9 Jul 2016, at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo, Mississippi, with Brother Tim Brown and Brother Tim Williams officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

A graveside service will be at 4 pm on Saturday the 9th at Trinity Baptist Church in Carbon Hill, Alabama.

Milton was preceded in death by his father, JT Cook; mother, Nita Norris; step father, Earl Norris; and father in law, Randy Parker.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters; 3 sisters, 1 step brother, mother in law, 2 sisters in law, 1 brother in law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
