Arnold Almond Bell, 66, of Fieldale, died wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden, N.C. He was born December 12, 1949 in Beckley, W.Va. to Arnold Forrest Bell and Virginia Ruth Hubbard Bell, both deceased.

Mr. Bell was a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Army. He earned an Associate Degree and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Chad Martin.

Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Joan Amburn Bell of the home; two sons, Ronnie Martin and wife, Rhonda and Lonnie Martin and wife Sheila, both of Fieldale; three sisters, Claudette Bell of Beckley, W.Va., Esther Smith of Ohio and Mary Lou Hines of Cherry Grove, N.C.; a nephew, Allan Bell and wife, Barbara; four grandsons, Jason Martin and wife, Brie, Will Martin, James Martin and Shawn Martin; two granddaughters, Michelle Martin and Kayla Martin; and special friends, Roy Fowler, Larry (Sheila) Turner, Jack Bibb (Geneva), and Denton Boardwine and family.

Funeral Services will be held at Community Funeral Services, Ridgeway on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Roselawn Burial
