SHELTON — Michael L. Petersen, 57, of rural Shelton passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at his home southeast of Gibbon.
Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, with Pastor Darrel Wissmann officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
He was born June 20, 1959, at Hastings to Harold and Beulah (Anderson) Petersen.
Survivors include his love of 32 years, Gina Sohn of rural Shelton; a daughter, Kerri Bernstrauch and her husband, Michael, of Holdrege; a son, Brett Tilson and his wife, Crystal, of Holdrege; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Tania Beahm and her husband, Larry, of Alma, and Sonja Hansen and her husband, Richard, of Bertrand.
