Addie Lena Whitcomb Jamison was the daughter of Orin Whitcomb Jr (born 1841) and Nancy Adeline Ruark Whitcomb(born 1846). She had 9 brothers and sisters: Martin, Emma, Jess, May, Lillie, Annie, Dan, Cassie & Bessie.

Seven of the children lived to adulthood. Lillie, Cassie and Bessie all died of diptheria about 1892.

At the age of 15, Addie married Millard Filmore Jamison on November 6, 1887 in Willits, California (then known as "Little Lake Valley". They had four children:

Merle, who died in his 30's, never married.

Myrtle, who died at 35 years old, wife of William Tunstall, and mother of Dorothy & Filmore.

Viola, who died at 41 years old, widow of Herman Lester Runge, and mother of Robert.

Mabel, wife of Ed Johnson, and mother of Edna.

Addie's husband passed away in 1909, and she never remarried.

Addie is buried in the same plot as her daughter Mabel and son Merle. Her daughter Viola is buried in the same plot as her husband Filmore.
