Fred Everett Tennant was born December 2, 1929 in Zanesville, OH; he passed away October 10, 2004 at the Frank Tajeda Veteran's Home in Floresville, TX. He served in the military for twenty-three years, in both the Navy and the Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked at Kelly Air Force Base for the Department of Defense as a civilian, and as a civil engineer in Plans and Development for almost ten years until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Kitty Tennant of San Antonio; two aunts, Glenna Williams Maxwell and her husband Roy of Zanesville, OH, and Ruth Tennant Blackford of Pataskala, OH; four children, Steven Tennant and his wife Cindy of Hanford, CA; Jean Tennant and her husband Grover Reiser of Everly, IA; David Tennant and his wife Linda of Honey Creek, IA; and Shelley Tennant of San Antonio; stepdaughter, Leah Stansy of San Antonio; seven grandchildren, one step-grandson, and five great-grandchildren. Cremation was handled by Olinger Mortuary Service in San Antonio, TX.
