She was called home on June 30, 2016.
She confessed hope in Christ where she joined Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America under the leadership of the late Reverend McKinley Jones. She then later moved her membership to Madkins Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America under the leadership of Reverend Endia J. Scruggs.
Annie had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. If she could do it for you, you could consider it done. She was a very devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will truly be missed. Annie was the eldest of 14 children. She was preceded in death by Doris A. Burton, Eric D. Burton, and Comas Blackburn.
