MICHAEL W. SNOWDEN, age 63, of Middletown, OH, passed away, Wednesday, July 6, 2016. He was born in Middletown, OH, on September 15, 1952. He retired from AK Steel in 2002 after 30 years of service; and attended Apex Community Church in Dayton. He enjoyed gardening, classic car shows, vacationing, and spending time with loved ones. Since retiring at the age of 50, Michael enjoyed "walking his estate", napping, drinking coca-cola, spending time with his beloved pet Lexie, and playing with his grandson, Henry.

He was preceded in death by his beloved loving mother, Clara Strong. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sandy (Lawson) Snowden; his daughters, Lindsay (Adam) Wallace and Ashley Snowden; his grandson, Henry Wallace; his sisters, Linda (Lance) Darnold, Victoria Morris, and Kimberly (David) Goodwin; numerous nieces and nephews; and his step-father, Dewey Strong.

The family will receive friends at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, Oh with Chaplain Cory Rowe officiating. Burial at Woodside Cemetery.
