Family hour will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 N. Jefferson Ave. with funeral services commencing at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Alfonso Abner will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Chester McDaniel, Jr. passed away Thursday, October 26, 2006. He was born December 10, 1945 in Phoenix, AZ, the son of Chester Arthur and Edna Mae McDaniel.
Mr. McDaniel was a General Motor retiree. He enjoyed traveling and fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Olivia McDaniel; his children, Adonna Mitchell, Chester McDaniel, III and LaSwavian McDaniel; step-children, Harold (Janet) Gaines, Diane, Ciare and Malik Turner, all of Saginaw, MI; 26 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Chestine Day and Zetha Gipson; brothers, Rev. James Washington and Alvin Washington; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and other relatives and friends.
Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
