BUDA — Elaine M. (Bangtson) Cambron, 87, of Buda died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2016, at her home in Buda.

Born Sept. 7, 1928, in Buda to Harry and Ethel (Foster) Bangtson, she married Richard E. Cambron in Buda on Sept. 12, 1946. He died Sept. 6, 1983.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Jim) Harlow of Kewanee, and Karen (Tom) Wright of Wyanet; a son, Richard A. (Amy) Cambron of Wyanet; six grandchildren, Sandy (Bob) Decker of Buda, Stephanie Davis of Buda, Michelle (Jim) Transou of Princeton, Melissa Shepherd of Indianapolis, Ind., Seth Cambron of Wyanet, and Trevor Cambron of Wyanet; nine great-grandchildren, Ashleigh and Zach Decker, Dylan Davis, Josephine and Nicholas Shepard, and Kole, Kaylee, Kristin and Karter Transou; two great-great-grandchildren, Jaelyn and Evangeline Decker; and one sister, Janet (Bernard) Vermiere of Wyoming, Ill.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Stephan Cambron; two brothers, Robert and Foster Bangston; one sister, Esther Philhower; and a grandson, Brent W. Davis.

She graduated from Buda High School in 1946. She worked at Kraft Foods in Manlius, Cheddar House in Princeton and retired in 1992 from Greenfield in Princeton. She was a former member of Congregational Church in Buda. She was an avid Cubs fan.
Private graveside services will be held at Hopeland Cemetery with Pastor Laura Root-Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Hopeland Cemetery, Buda. Cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials may be made to Hopeland Cemetery in Buda.
