Angela Denise Schaefer (Rudkin) died peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer, on April 25th, 2016, at the age of 51. Angela was a loving wife, mother, daughter, friend and a dedicated teacher. Angela lived a long and fulfilling life dedicated to the nurturing of our youth as a teacher for the Clay County and Duval County School Board. Angela not only loved and cared for her family and friends but loved each of her students dearly.
Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Audrene Rudkin, and is survived by her devoted husband, Bill Schaefer, her most adored daughter, Sarah Schaefer, her father Joe Rudkin (Bonnie Rudkin), brothers Joe Rudkin II & Jared Rudkin and her sister Lisa Vargo. Angela also leaves behind numerous cherished nieces & nephews and a magnitude of caring friends.
Funeral arrangements will be provided by Jacksonville Memory Gardens located at 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, May 2, 2016, 5pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 10am with a graveside service to follow.
