The Derrick, Friday, Apr 4 1975:
Mrs. Lillian I. Gaisford, 94, of 1105 North St., died at 1:35 am Thursday in Grandview Extendicare, Franklin. One of the county's oldest residents, she was born July 21, 1880 in Dempseytown, daughter of Norton C. and Clara E. Crowthers Henderson.

She married William Gaisford, whodied December 8, 1965.

The last surviving member of her immediate family, she made her home foe the past nine years with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ira P. Ware of North Street. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church of Oil City and of the Morris Chapter of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are daughters Mrs. Ira P. Ware, and Mrs. Carl (Clara) Mitchell, both of Oil City; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.

Services will be at the Charles A. Morrison funeral home with Rev. Harold Kelly of the Second Presbyterian Church, and Rev. Donald Mitchell of the First Presbyterian Church of Oil City officiating.
