Bartlett, TN - SMSgt Anthony Wayne Britt (USAF, RET), 70, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Brookdale in Cordova, TN. Mr. Britt retired after a distinguished 27 year career with the US Air Force. He had a love for his country like no other and was proud of his service. Mr. Britt loved to read and collect books. He will be remembered for his love of talking and courageous service to his country. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Carol Britt; two daughters, Christina Lauffer and Rebecca Douver, and two sisters, Patricia Crisp and Cookie Flynn. Family will receive guests Friday, July 8, 2016, at 9:00 am, and services will follow at 10:00 am at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122.
