Lee Donaldson Russell, 93, passed away Wednesday July 6, 2016. Mr. Russell was born March 13, 1923 in Forkland, Kentucky a son of the late Henry Taylor and Adele Cooley Russell and was married to his loving wife, Frances Taylor Russell for 73 years.Mr. Russell served his Country in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII, was a member of Perryville United Methodist Church, retired from North American Phillips and his pride and joy was raising and tending to his garden.In addition to his wife, Frances, he is survived by three children, Roger Dale Russell (Jackie), Patricia Rayens (Bruce), Ronnie Russell (Martha), five grandchildren, Ron Russell, Jr., Jason Russell, Christina Russell, Todd Russell, B. J. Russell, four great-grandchildren, Ashton, Avery, Caroline, and Jacob Russell.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Russell was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law David Louis and Exie Russell.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday July 11, 2016 at Wilder Funeral Home in Perryville with Rev. Doug Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday July 10, 2016 from 5 -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Pallbearers will be B.J., Ron, Jason, Todd Russell, Marlin and Darrell Taylor.Honorary bearers will be Jack Carey and David McCarty
