Audrey Gray, 88, of Genoa, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Genoa LTC.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at United Methodist Church in Silver Creek. Interment will be in Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday, all at the church.
Audrey Gray was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Cordova to Phillip and Emma (Johnson) Hansen. She graduated from Cordova High School where she was the valedictorian of her class. Audrey was united in marriage to Jason Gray on Aug. 4, 1946, in Cordova. They made their home in Cordova until 1960 when they moved to Silver Creek. Audrey worked at the grocery store in Silver Creek before going to work at Vishay/Dale Electronics until retiring. Audrey loved cooking and baking. She was a member of the Silver Creek United Methodist Church.
Audrey is survived by her son Phillip (Katherine) Gray of Omaha, son Darrol (Fran) Gray of Shelby, daughter Carol Richards of Silver Creek, daughter Donna (Scott) Alexander of Silver Creek, son Terry (Tammy) Gray of Silver Creek, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Jeri Gray of Polk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jason Gray, son Dennis Gray, four sisters, infant brother and infant sister.
