Dawn Marie (Piatt) Gray passed away the morning of July 2, 2016 under Hospice care at Tradition Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie after a courageous battle with multiple illnesses beginning over twenty years ago.

She was born July 29th, 1955 in Wheeling, WV, and grew up in Massillon, Ohio before becoming a South Florida resident. She was a devoted Christian, a warmhearted, loving and patient stay-at-home mother who later lived for the joys of spoiling all her grandchildren.
She was always optimistic, never abandoned her faith in God, nor was bitter about her failing health. Her loving personality always persevered as a fighter and she remained strong to everyone around her. She was a best friend, mentor and hero in the eyes of her family.

Dawn is survived by her mother, Betty (Piatt) Holding; her daughters Rachel King (Joseph King), Melanie Gray and Kelsey Gray (engaged to Travis Nuckols); 5 grandchildren; and her siblings Frank Piatt, Mary Carter, T. James Piatt, Ladonna Moore and Richard Piatt. She is preceded in death by her father Donald D. Piatt, her brothers David E. Piatt and William D. Piatt, and her sister Janice Moore.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at The Seagrape Towers Clubhouse on Singer Island for all family and friends.

Psalms 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
