Gary L. Riha, age 68, of 3215 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers, passed away suddenly on June 23, 2016 in Two Rivers,

Gary was born April 29, 1948 in Two Rivers son of the late Joseph R. and Arvilla A. (Rousse) Riha.

He graduated from Washington High School, class of 1966. He enrolled in Milwaukee Institute of Technology in 1968 and graduated with an Associate Degree in Restaurant and Hotel Cookery in 1970. He worked in Milwaukee at the Pfister Hotel and other culinary establishments until his mother opened "The Golden Nugget" supper club. He managed and owned the club and Arvy's Restaurant for almost 40 years until it's closing. He also worked at Shoreline Credit Union and was a Census Field representative.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf, baseball, and bowling.

Survivors include two sisters: Linda Riha and JoAnn Riha, both of Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law: Wayne and Pamela Riha, Kentwood MI.; two nephews: Eric (Jennifer) Riha and Jason (Nancy) Riha; two Aunts: Marcella Hammer and Grace Rousse; as well as other relatives and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 11:30 until 1 PM at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, in Two Rivers.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center and services will be held at 1 PM at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, July 8th.

Officiating at the service will be Pastor Pat Hanson. Burial will take place at Forestview Cemetery, Two Rivers.
