Ronald Joseph Qualls, 64, passed away on May 2, 2015 at Noland Hospital in Montgomery, AL. He was born on April 29, 1951 in Nashville, TN to Joseph and Lucile Hayes Qualls.
Ron grew up in Nashville, TN. He graduated from Donelson High School in 1968. He married the love of his life, Judy, in 1993 in Gatlinburg, TN. They were happily married for 21 years. Ron was a member of First Baptist Church in Prattville, AL. He loved his Sunday school class, his family, and University of Tennessee football. He also enjoyed his time working as a Senior Construction Estimator for Caddell Construction.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Golden Qualls.
Ron is survived by his mother, Lucile Qualls Wright; loving wife, Judy Burrell Qualls; sons, Edward (Alicia) Qualls, Jonathan (Leslie) Qualls, and daughter, Rebekah (Timothy) Richards; brother, Stephen (Cecelia) Qualls and sister, Eileen (David) Roberts; 8 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service and visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Prattville, AL starting at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, May 9, 2015. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at 10:30 A.M. before the service at 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Autauga Interfaith Care Center or the Prattville/Autauga Humane Society
