On July 4, 2016, Kathleen Tschache Reynolds peacefully passed away and is now in the hands of God.

Kathleen was born on Sept. 16, 1923, to Paul and Vera Tschache in Great Falls, Montana. Kathleen was raised in Hamilton, Montana and graduated in 1941 from Hamilton High School. She received a teaching degree from University Minnesota and taught English in Browning, Montana and at Montana State University and Montana School of Mines.

During WWII Kathleen served as nurse in the U.S. Navy

Kathleen married Samuel G. Reynolds in 1945. For many years Kathleen and Sam resided in Butte, Montana, where Sam was an engineer with the Anaconda Company.

Sam and Kathleen also raised their family, sons Scott and Mark in Butte. Kathleen was active in the Butte community where she participated in AAUW, Jaycees, PEO, PTA, and the United Church of Christ.

After Sam passed away in 1985, Kathleen resided in Hamilton, Montana where she was active with the Marcus Daly Mansion, the hospice program, and the UMAB Church.

Kathleen was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother and is survived by her sister, Lorrine Zimmerman; sons, Scott (wife Billie Jean) and Mark (wife Maura) Reynolds; grandchildren, Matthew, Nick, and Sam Reynolds (wife Melissa) and Katie Whitaker (husband Brandon) and Janine Cherry (husband Doug); and great-grandchildren, Sidney, Sara, and Shea Whitaker and Augustus Reynolds.

In accordance with her requests, cremation has taken place at Butte Crematories.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 6, at United Methodist American Baptist Church, 211 Sixth Street in Hamilton, Montana.

Memorials are requested to Shodair Children’s Hospital, 2755 Colonial Drive, Helena, Montana 59601, U.M.A.B. in Hamilton or charity of the donor’s choice.
