Mrs. Susie M. Harrison transitioned peacefully in her sleep on the morning of June 27, 2016, at her residence in Shreveport, LA.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016, 11:00 AM, in the Chapel of Heavenly Gates Funeral Home, 1339 Jewell Street.
Interment will follow in Lincoln Memorial Park.
The Family will receive friends between the hours of 12:00 & 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, at Heavenly Gates.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Deacon C. W. Hooks Sr. and Rosetta Rodney Hooks as well as her son, Elder Donald K. Harrison (Emma). Susie is survived by her husband; Deacon Clarence Harrison; daughters Brenda Harrison Alexander, Orlise Harrison Aubrey (Henry Sr.), Donzell Harrison; her brothers Carl Hooks Jr., Curtis Hooks (Margaret), sister, Betty Lou Perry, sisters-in-law, Lillie H. Thompson, Thelma Harrison, and Deloris Hooks, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
