MEIDENBAUER - Marion B. (nee Beiter) Age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. The daughter of Henry and Rose (Brachmann) Beiter, she moved with her husband and children from the Buffalo, NY area to Maryland in the late 1960s. After working for the Department of Transportation at BWI airport for many years, she served as secretary to several MD State Treasurers before retiring in 1993. She loved reading mysteries and gardening, but she especially treasured the weekly family dinner gatherings that remained a constant in her family's lives for decades. She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth G. Meidenbauer. Surviving are five children, Frank K. (Blanca) of Perth Amboy, NJ, Richard H. (Patricia) of Millersville, Catherine M. (Mark) Frank of Severn, Joanne M. (Richard) Wonders of Glen Burnie, and Barbara A. (Roger) Shanks of Odenton; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family will welcome visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, in Glen Burnie on Sunday, July 10, from 2-4 and 5-7 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, Millersville, on Monday, July 11 at 10:00 AM, followed by services at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery at 11:30.
