Oscar L. Bowles, 68, of 2132 Brighton, retired insurance agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance, died Thursday, October 4. Burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. Mr. Bowles was a member of Leaclair Baptist Church.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Thelma Bowles; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Dawkins, and a son, Oscar Bruce Bowles, all of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Janet Autry and a brother, Jerry Bowles, both of Los Angeles and four grandchildren.
