Sharon (Sheri) Guthrie 68, of Yuba City passed away on June 1, 2009. Born in Linden, California, on September 13, 1940, she was a resident of Yuba City for forty two years. She was a graduate of San Jose State University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was a retired school teacher.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Irene Costa and her brother, Richard Costa all of Linden, California. She is survived by her husband of forty six years, sons, daughter, and granddaughters.
She was an avid bridge player, having attained Life Master Status. She loved skiing, traveling, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City, on Sunday, from Noon to 5:00 P.M. Services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City. Burial will follow at Sutter Cemetery.
