Charlie "Ray"
Ray passed away September 27, 2013 after a short illness at Sacred Heart Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Foster, also a sister, Linda Foster who left us many years ago. May he be in peace with them now.
Ray lived in Spokane for 22 years. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan Ponder Foster; a son, Jason Foster; daughter, Samantha Foster; daughter-in-law, Melissa Foster; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Dylan Foster, all of Spokane; a loving mother, Wanda Foster in Haughton, LA; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Tommy Powell of Bossier City, LA; and two wonderful nieces as well as a stepmother-in-law, Ikuko Ponder, who cared about him and the family very much through the last difficult years.
His cat, Buddy, brought him joy in his last year of life. Ray, Buddy misses you and will be taken care of. Special thanks to the Cuebas family and their church for all the help and kindness they gave our family in our time of grief and sorrow. Memorial service will be held October 17 at noon at the SPOKANE CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICE CHAPEL, 2832 N. RUBY, SPOKANE .
