She was born August 28, 1955, in Rockford, to George and Inez (Sneed) Lawshe. In 2010, she married Robert Wayne Heath of Marseilles who survives.
Cheryl was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morris. She served as a Big Sister. She was awarded a nursing scholarship but gave it up to another girl she felt needed it more. Cheryl was a very kind and giving person who always thought of others first.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Wayne Heath; two step-daughters, Polly (Randy) Eppley of Akron, OH and Rosemary Gooding of Carrollton, IL; two step-sons, Robert Matthew (Janette) Heath of Carrollton, IL and Joshua Adam (Randi) Heath of Brownsburg, IN; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
