Cheryl Ann Heath, 60, of Marseilles passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Morris Hospital.

Funeral services and visitation were private. Burial was in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

She was born August 28, 1955, in Rockford, to George and Inez (Sneed) Lawshe. In 2010, she married Robert Wayne Heath of Marseilles who survives.

Cheryl was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morris. She served as a Big Sister. She was awarded a nursing scholarship but gave it up to another girl she felt needed it more. Cheryl was a very kind and giving person who always thought of others first.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Wayne Heath; two step-daughters, Polly (Randy) Eppley of Akron, OH and Rosemary Gooding of Carrollton, IL; two step-sons, Robert Matthew (Janette) Heath of Carrollton, IL and Joshua Adam (Randi) Heath of Brownsburg, IN; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be directed to the Marseilles Police Department.
