Mrs. Nellie Gray "Nell" Myers Williamson, 82, of 2025 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton died Wednesday, August 16th at Rex Heart and Vascular Hospital surrounded by friends and family.

Mrs. Williamson, born in Johnston County, was the daughter of the late Ether Myers and Maybelle Myers and the widow of Preston L. Williamson. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Tom and James Myers; and sisters, Evelyn Southerland and Lula Jackson.

She worked at Sampson Regional Medical Center in the business office and retired with over 40 years of service. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Spell and husband Bobby; grandsons, Justin Spell and wife Kristen, and Gavin Spell and wife Haley; great grandson, Ryan; sisters, Dorothy Barefoot and husband John and Julia Vann.

The family received friends one and a half hours prior services at the church.

The funeral services were held at 3 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Epworth United Methodist Church in Clinton with the Rev. Dorothy Rudd officiating.

Burial was made in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Clinton.

The family entrusted the care of Mrs. Williamson to the Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home of Clinton, NC.
