Arthur C. Statzer
Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Monday at the Little Chapel of the Chimes for Arthur C. Statzer, who died Thursday at his home, 6316 N. Minnesota street, after a short illness.
Born December 8, 1883, Mr. Statzer had been in Portland since 1909. He was a locomotive engineer for 40 years, and retired in 1940. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Engineers.
Surviving are the widow, Lena O. Statzer; five children: Jean O. Brock, Pendleton; James E. Statzer, Kalamazoo; June L. Yank, Virginia R. Holzman and Jack C. Statzer, Portland; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and six brothers and sisters: Cecil Statzer, Springfield; Wade Stratzer, Tacoma; Ada Alton and Althea Parks, Eugene; Iris Trotter, Springfield, snf Clara Scaer, San Mainow.
