MRS. EMMA ADAMSON DIES THIS MORNING AT LOCAL HOSPITAL
FUNERAL SERVICES ARE ARRANGED FOR FRIDAY AT FAYETTEVILLE

Mrs. Emma Adamson, wife of Ziba Adamson, died this morning at three o'clock in the local hospital. Mrs. Adamson entered the hospital some two weeks ago. The deceased was born on August 19, 1851, in Martin county to Thomas and Nancy Inman. She was united in marriage to Harvey Miller in early
womanhood. Mr. Miller died 15 years ago and she was united in marriage in 1895 to Ziba Adamson, who survives her. In addition to the husband the deceased is survived by one daughter, Miss Bradie Adamson; three stepsons, Everett Adamson, of Fayetteville, Litna Adamson, of Tuscaloosa, Okla., and Frank Adamson, of Milton, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Amy Gee, of Fayetteville,and Mrs. Hennian Blackburn, of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Hanna Hall, of Koleen, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Adamson was held in the highest esteem by all. The remains were cared for at the Roach funeral home and will lie in state there. Rev. Logan Hatfield will conduct the funeral services at the Fayetteville Church of Christ, of which the deceased was a member, on Friday at 10 a.m. and interment will take place in the Owensburg cemetery.

NOTE: Emma was born in 1854 rather than 1851. According to her headstone, she was born in 1854. These 2 records below show that is probably correct.
