She was born December 31, 1902, in Lack Township, Juniata County, the daughter of the late Charles and Katie (Smith) Kelly. She was united in marriage to William J. Krause on December 26, 1917, in Mifflintown. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1981.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. David (Helen) Holden, Shirleysburg; Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Hoffman, Neelyton; Mrs. Edwin (Irene) Glunt, Mrs. Herbert (Ruth) Parson, Mrs. Dennie (Vielda) Seibert, all of Shade Gap; Boyd Krause and Richard Krause, of Orbisonia; Mrs. Theodore (Lorma) Boozel, Mount Union, R.D. and Mrs. Donald (Evelyn) Laidig of Orrstown.
There are 34 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren surviving.
The following brothers and sisters also survive: George Kelly, Shirleysburg; Dervin Kelly and Burtis Kelly, both of Mifflin; Samuel Kelly, Walnut; Blair Kelly, McClure and Ethel Kirk, East Waterford.
One daughter and three brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Krause was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Rockhill Furnace and the Orbisonia-Rockhill Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary. Throughout her life she was a homemaker.
Friends may call at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, from 7 to 9 p.m. tongiht and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to noon and one hour prior to services at the church.
