Herbert Ploor, 77, of 3511 Highway 147 West, Two Rivers, died Tuesday evening, March 28, 1989 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Msgr. James Feely will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Ploor was born February 26, 1912 at Sawyer, Wisconsin, son of the late Frank and Anna Vogt Ploor. He married Elma Schultz April 24, 1927 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Mr. Ploor was employed with Foremost Dairy, Mishicot and then at Holy Family Hospital until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Elma; a son and daughter-in-law, Edgar and Mary Ploor of Lansing, Michigan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene and Leon Sleger of Manitowoc and Kathryn and Ronald Goodman of Steamwood, Illinois; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Agnes Ploor of Two Rivers and Norman and Helen Ploor of Florida; a sister, Mrs. Alvina Walotkiewicz of Two Rivers; five grandchildren, Janette, Robert, Anthony, Matthew and Alan. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday, where a memorial service will be at 7:30 pm.
