WALTER G. ATCHIE. KEMPTVILLE, Oct. 24. (Special) The death of Walter G. Atchie, highly respected young man of Kemptville, took place on Wednesday morning at an Ottawa hospital following a short illness. Mr. Atchie, who was in his 27th year, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Atchie. He was born and received his education in Kemptville and for several years had been in business as an implement agent. He was a man of sterling character and a member of St. John's United Church. The funeral . will be held on Friday afternoon at 2.30 p.m., D.S.T., from his late residence on North Rideau street to St John's Church, where service will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. R. R. Nicholson. He is survived by four brothers. Jack, of Ottawa; Thomas, of Toronto: Charles, of Dexter, N.Y, and Thayer, of the Forestry division, Quebec; five sisters, Mrs. Irvin Anderson, Kemptville; Mrs. J. W. Brayshaw, Toronto; Mrs. L. F. C. Carter, Cochrane, Ont.; Mrs. William Jackson, and Mrs. Scott, of Watertown. N.Y. Interment will be made in the Kemptville public cemetery.
