Private Family Funeral Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 1997, at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot. Officiating was Rev. Rick Hines with burial in Mishicot Public Cemetery.
He was born August 26, 1914, in the town of Cooperstown, son of the late Emil and Rose Krynes Petska. He attended Rosecrans School. Mr. Petska married the former Grace Riha, February 14, 1942, Denmark. He worked for many years as a crane operator for Alfred Machine Company, and had a milk route and also drove gravel trucks in the area. He was a member of the Larrabee Sportsman's Club.
Survivors include his loving wife, Grace; his beloved daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Allen Skubal, Mishicot; one granddaughter, Corrie Skubal, whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Erniel Hansen, Denmark; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly and Dan Skaletski, Denmark; nieces and nephews, Dean Skaletski, Missy Skaletski, Lori Gazella, Carri Woulf and Deanne DeNoble, whom he loves as his grandchildren; and his nieces, Grace Watkins and Sandra Pantzlaff. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one niece.
There will be no visitation.
