Mrs. Anna Petri, 82, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died at 2:30 pm Thursday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Leona Rudebeck of 2806 Monroe St., Two Rivers. She had been in failing health for several months. Funeral services will be at 9:15 am Saturday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers and at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, the Rev. George Beth officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
Mrs. Petri, nee Anna Steiner, was born October 23, 1878 in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late John and Frances Karda Steiner. She was married in 1900 at Kossuth to John Petri. For seven years after their marriage they lived at Shoto and then became engaged in farming on Rt. 2, Two Rivers. Mr. Petri died in 1932. Mrs. Petri was a member of the Altar Society at Holy Cross Church.
Surviving Mrs. Petri are another daughter, Mrs. Lucille Ackerman of Milwaukee; two sons, Ralph of Two Rivers and Harold of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8:45 o'clock this Friday evening.
